At least four people have been killed and several others injured following a shooting at a school in southern Turkey, the local governor has reported.
The incident occurred at Ayser Calık Secondary School located in the Kahramanmaraş area, according to local media outlets.
Details about the victims and the assailant have not yet been confirmed by officials.
This latest shooting comes just a day after a previous tragic event where 16 individuals were injured following gunfire at another high school, during which the perpetrator, an ex-student, took his own life.
The motivations behind Wednesday's attack remain unclear, prompting law enforcement to initiate an investigation.
Initial reports from Turkish media indicate that the attacker entered multiple classrooms armed with five firearms and seven magazines, which allegedly belonged to his father.
